I was an original investor in Decadata. Basil had a machine he guaranteed would cure AIDS. We tried it on 4 guys 30 daily continuous sessions and it did nothing. Basil spent all Decadata's money and it went under. A few years later he resurfaced in a Tecate Mexico situation. He blamed the people at Decadata so I looked at Tecate. Went there for a few days as well. Beautiful site. An investment group poured $400,000 into him and the project, BEFORE talking with me. After talking with me, they got very wary. The renovations to the property and Basil's extravagance wiped out the investment. They lost a bundle. The property then fell into the hands of another alternative Mexican project. In the meantime, he never paid me for a personal loan of $2000 I made to him in the Decadata days.

Basil acted like he was personal friends with Renate Viebahn and all the famous German ozone people. In fact I don't think he ever met them. He claimed to have many patents, including one to neutralize and waste toxic product via incineration. I realized that he was one of the great con men of the century. Fortunately, I only lost 10K in Decadata and the $2000 personal loan. I saw many others lost many times that amount.
